Small Group Training
Affordable, Fun, Unique
Horizon is proud to offer a variety of small group training sessions. The training sessions are designed as an affordable supplement to your current routine or as a great jump-start into fitness. Group sessions are open to everyone. They are an ideal opportunity for new faces to get acquainted with the studio and for old friends to see what's new. Each class has a unique theme and is often designed for a particular clientele (beginner, advanced, high intensity, etc.) A wide variety of classes will be offered from outdoor adventure classes (rock climbing, kayaking) to Brazilian dance.

Groups are typically 4 to 6 people allowing for plenty of feedback and the one on one attention that you wouldn't get from a larger traditional class. Group sessions are offered by the Horizon trainers so you can count on an experienced, educated, and friendly instructor.

Brazilian Martial Arts & Dance
Capoeira/Samba/Maculele/Frevo
When: Tuesday 6:00 - 6:45pm OR
Thursday 6:00 - 6:45pm
Duration: 8 weeks
Cost: $96.00
Intensity: Low to High intensity dependent upon how hard you push yourself.

We are offering two classes, when signing up, please choose either Tuesdays or Thursdays. Start dates - Tuesday is TBD, Thursday is currently running (please call for additional details)



Learn to Run - Beginner
When: Start date TBD, 5:00 - 5:45pm
Where: Memorial High School - Practice Football Field
Duration: 2 weeks
Cost: $24 for 2 coaching sessions over 2 weeks
Prerequisites: Individuals new to running
Intensity: Depending on skill level


Learn to Run - Intermediate
When: Start date TBD, 5:00 - 5:45pm
Where: Memorial High School - Practice Football Field
Duration: 2 weeks
Cost: $24 for 2 coaching sessions over 2 weeks
Prerequisites: Short distance or 1 or 2 running events under your belt
Intensity: Depending on skill level


Learn to Run - Advanced
When: Start date TBD, 8:00 - 8:45am
Where: Memorial High School - Practice Football Field
Duration: 2 weeks
Cost: $24 for 2 coaching sessions over 2 weeks
Prerequisites: Experienced runners
Intensity: Depending on skill level


FUNctional Circuit
When: Wednesday 5:30 - 6:10pm OR
Friday 6:30 - 7:10pm
Duration: 6 weeks
Cost: $72
Prerequisites: Must currently be on an exercise program and be prepared to work hard.
Intensity: Moderate to Intense

Intro to Hatha Yoga
When: Saturday 10:00 - 11:30am start date TBD
Duration: 6 weeks
Cost: $90
Prerequisites: An open mind, normal blood pressure
Intensity: Low, for Beginners!


Strength Training for Runners
When: Monday 6:00 - 7:00pm start date TBD
Duration: 6 weeks
Cost: $72
Prerequisites: An interest in running
Intensity: Moderate


Tai Chi
When: Tuesday 6:15-7:30pm (currently in session)
Cost: $18 per session
Intensity: Relative


Canoe and Kayak Course
When: Wednesday 9:00 - 10:00am (currently in session)
Duration: 6 weeks
Cost: $120 (includes the cost of canoe/kayak)
Intensity: Low to Moderate


Functional Strength Training
When: Saturdays 9:00 - 10:00am start date TBD

Stretch and Relax
When: Thursdays 7:00 - 7:45pm (currently in session)

Pilates Fusion
