My wife talked me into coming to Horizon about 2 years ago. At the time I thought it would be a waste of my time but I came anyways. I have always enjoyed being active and eating healthy, but I knew I needed something more to help motivate me and push my limits. After researching local personal trainers, Horizon seemed like the best fit for me. I needed someone who could personalize a program, provide a variety of activities to keep me interested and committed, inspire me to try my best and even then give a little more, and most importantly help me fit into a bikini for my brother�s beach themed wedding.

This is exactly what I got with TJ. TJ listened to my personal goals and positively encouraged me to achieve those goals every step of the way. I not only became physically stronger but I gained a self-confidence that came from TJ believing in me and thus me believing in myself. I didn�t want to just lose weight, I wanted to gain muscle and I did.

What I also gained was new friends, a support system, and a large repertoire of different exercises and strategies. I have since switched from personal training to weekly boot camp classes that help me put fitness as a priority and keep me accountable for staying active and healthy. No doubt that it has been a lot of hard work, but it has also been a lot of fun and I look forward to many more sessions full of sweat and laughter.
